• Kabbalat Shabbat

  • Shacharit Shabbat

  • Havdallah

  • Wait… that’s a Jewish song?

    • A worship experience like none other. Instead of a usual Kabbalat Shabbat service, we will be using secular music as our guide through the worship with the goal of showing that Judaism is all around us, hidden in plain sight.

Being Heard

  • A program built like a combination of a song session, story telling, and chevruta (group discussion/study) Being Heard teaches individuals and groups how to accept themselves for who they are and think about how to be a more inclusive community.

Nick May was a gem to have at our synagogue this weekend! His music was outstanding and our congregation enjoyed the fun as well as the spiritual additions to our Shabbat service. Our students also learned valuable lessons during Religious School on being true to your own self with his program, “Being Heard.”

Let me tell you about Nick May. Not only is he a fantastic human being and giving soul, he also manages to fuse every drop of his personality and huge heart into his music. I can’t recommend him enough.

Having Nick as our song leader at our recent congregational Kallah added so much to the beauty and enjoyment of the weekend. He was great to work with and has solid song leading skills as well as a strong repertoire of both Jewish and secular music. From the youngest to the oldest members, everyone loved the music and what Nick added to our weekend. I would highly recommend him!”
